I’m guessing this was released on April 1st?
So the key to McLaren's resurgance is that there is no fundamental issue this year, meaning that car immediately jumped in performance compared to the other teams. That much should have been obvious in preseason but I guess they forgot about causes of bad performance last year and took it as a starting point for McLaren this year. Hence the surprise.mwillems wrote: ↑10 Apr 2019, 09:02https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/arti ... v2con.html

I think Key is higher in the hierarchy. As far as I know you should see him as the "CEO" of chassis.Ground Effect wrote: ↑10 Apr 2019, 18:13Regarding positions, I saw on the McLaren website that Peter Prodromou is listed as Chief Technical Officer - Aerodynamics. Sounds like a more senior post than Key and Fry, I thought they would all be on the same level. Or am I wrong and reading too much into the title?
