They need to get into Q3. Drivers saying that even with the new aero config its difficult to follow car around the bend before the long straight. If they can luck into top 8, they could be in decent shout for solid points. They seem to be really good on hard tyres, deg is very low on all tyres.

Could he be the saviour of Red Bull? I know it's still early in the season, but I think Gasly should keep one eye on Max, as he tries to close the gap, and one eye on Albon, who is doing incredibly well. What an excellent recovery. Let's remember he drove an F1 car for the first time in February this year.

Alex comes across as someone who understands how to extract performance from a car unlike Gasly who on his day will be quick without understanding how. Last year no one in Toro Rosso were clamouring about Gasly and Hartley's feedback, since testing Alex has been giving positive vibes on setup and tyre.
Baku should be decent fot Alex as he got pole last year.

Those were kind words from Honda to save face really, obviously they reciprocated kind words from him all year towards Honda. Unless you missed the entire 2018 season, Hartley was just meh all year and i was rooting for him all year. Expect for Monaco and Japan he never showed any flash of brillance. To me TR had a decent chassis but could not get optimal setup in quali and race.

I guess the rookies these days dont have distractions like their other half to look after so can fully concentrate on their craft.

After destroying 1 chassis and several wings and floor, i worry the development will be nowhere compared to other midfield team. Also from PU side, expect several time penalties. However at least they have 2 good driver, but Dani is prone to mistake and Albon is still very green, so I think STR can not go higher than 8th in championship. Hope Im wrong
