Scuderia Ferrari SF90

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Do both cars use different floors in FP2 as well?
Both have the new one

Has anybody seen the car on track?
Usual understeer on slow corners or cleaner driving from the reds?

Thx for the downvotes about my complain about the total nonsensical downvotes on aero stuff. There were upvotes too , so someone up there still loves me, I hope

In the end... What an incomparable beauty

No
They changed all the other aero parts

The front wing maybe extreme but it has its advantages, it was indeed copied by tororosso to test it for redbull

Who knows...

Maybe a bit extreme, the whole car suffers low temperatures more than others, but the quali was tainted too and the behaviour looked stable

Yeah, but every one was saying the opposite, bad fw, aero failure, utter disaster and so on...

We still are in in deepsh. Tough

There's an inteview where Vettel says they are lacking mechanical grip.
That has to be chassis related, not precisely aero.

Can it be an easy fix? I suppose not as they may need to change the suspension... which in turn may affect aero.

it s never an easy fix but at least its potential benefit is broader.
if i was aero the car is already much developed, they should have changed whole car to fix it
since its suspension it can be easily addressed with effect on bargeboard area and it is even more sensible to the change so they can recover more

Mark Hughes on f1.com is saying Ferrari ran more surface front wing in AZB.

Does anyone have pictures to compare ?
