Hi i really need to know what the very first sponser of ferrari is because it is for an english essay due in tomorrow. Please help.

Humm....please don't post the same thing over and over again.... :lol:

About the first Ferrari sponsor...I've been looking through a few books and I can't find anything....but the first sponsors in Formula 1 (in the late 50's early 60's) had to be directly linked to the automotive industry...so only tires, fuel, spark plugs and oil....so my bet would be AGIP or Dunlop! But I cannot confirm it.....

With the recession, in 1968, the CSI/FIA decided to open the market to all other companies that wanted to sponsor teams.

If you're planning to write it in english i suggest you use the word "sponsor"

Well someone owes me some $$$$.

First I'm going to bring some "suspense"...hehe...Ferraris' first sponsor came to the team in 1967.....so AGIP and Dunlop are out of the frame....since AGIP started their sponsorship in 1973...and Dunlop in 1969....so it was SHELL! Exactly Shell started their sponsorship in 1967 and lasted untill 1972....because in 1973 Ferrari switched to AGIP a relationship that lasted untill the end of 1995....when Ferrari went back to Shell.
