McLaren MCL34

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

The Rear Wing is definitely new :)

Can’t really tell on the bargeboard area if the changes seeing in the renders at there and having trouble comparing the front wing to previous one

Maybe they divide to both cars so they test differents things on each car to avoid to many varibles if one car had all the new bits

The have copied the cut out in the corner of the end plate... Interesting how the third element of the wing seems to be connected to the main plain (although, could be just a visual trick due to the angle of the picture)... Definitely a new front wing for the team

To do something well is so worthwhile that to die trying to do it better cannot be foolhardy. It would be a waste of life to do nothing with one's ability, for I feel that life is measured in achievement, not in years alone. ― Bruce McLaren

Bargeboards don't look different in those photos. We have to wait for tomorrow to see both cars. I hope it wasn't just a PR rendering because those looked like some pretty nice updates.

Those photos also don't include the new shark fin, which we know is real because there are photos of the updated engine cover in the pit lane.
I didn't realize until just now: that's not Lyft's logo. What "Lyft" is this?
