Installation laps completed, both drivers back in the garage, and ready for install checks. Carlos is having the front wing changed. He did his lap on the old wing. Useful to have a read on that in case it's needed as a spare over the rest of the weekend.

Qualy gonna be a war very tough to be in Q3 we must beat renault and raikko, the Haas is faster than us

The Haas is a ferrari bis we cant compete with them in this track they had tyre issues before but in barcelona they are much faster than us

Im slightly disappointed that we didnt make a step forward we are far we shall know in 2 hours where we are

Doesn’t look fantastic, but still all to play for in qualifying. Practically only 2 spots available. I believe they can get at least one car in.

I'd be surprised if we can't beat our pre season testing times. How do the others compare to their pre season time?

Pre season testing time was done on a C5 tire.

Why the pessimism. Long runs the McLaren leads the midfield, not to mention even last year's car qualified well here. This year's car is quite a bit faster so I think q3 is possible, however the drivers will need to bring their A game.

In general the spanish GP is a boring race with less overtaking we must be at least 11 i dont think we have the pace for Q3 hope im wrong but we are slow s3 is a problem we lack mechanical grip

It's hard to read. At times we didn't move forward much since FP3 and times when we found a lot more time.

I'd hope with analysis they can see more ways to tune the setup, and fingers crossed they were running low engine mode.

But from what Lando says , qualy pace is still not there, so still hope, but not too much....

I just hope we are running conservative and that we are gonna show our true speed during the official qualifications.
