Seems that STR is back to the fight with the top midfield teams. Today the pace was best of the rest I think, Haas with the mediums were slower. And Kvyat made good overtakes, so it's looking great so far! A shame that horrendous double pitstop took Albon out of the points. But the car is fast!

Agree, and this was on a high down force track. It bodes well for Monaco.

I wonder if James Key was still with them they could have gone with a low rake, longer chassis ala Mercedes ie a B version to see potential development while RBR continue with its current form.

The STR14 have a long wheelbase, even with using the RB14 rear end. And they seem to do pretty well (giving is a midfield team) on the slow corners, maybe there is a few things to learn from STR that RBR can take a look
