McLaren seem to have the measure of their midfield rivals Haas, Toro Rosso and obviously Racing Point, Renault seem there or there abouts though.

I’d be surprised if Sainz avoids a 3 place penalty for impeding Albon which could put dampener on a good result.

I think Norris was going to be knocked by the Haas drivers fortunatly for us magnuss crashed

Magnussen crashing when in P10 means he will progress to Q3 but of course won’t take part. McLaren will therefore qualify a minimum of 8th & 9th (before any penalties), best combined qualifying of the season (and maybe last season too) I believe?

Definitely! Sainz sector times before the crash would have put him ahead of the Renaults I think, but it's too close to call. Can see a penalty coming his way too unfortunately, but if it's a 3 place pen then it might not affect him too badly for the race.
