Surely that’s no real diffrence than if he had qualified on them?
Does he have a new set of Mediums.siskue2005 wrote: ↑08 Jun 2019, 20:53no, as he didnt make it to q3, he can use whatever tyres he wants, even a new mediums or hards
There's nothing listed that I can see, the commentators did say they thought the stewards would be lenient as they had been all weekend.

well, no, apart from standing 5 or 6 spots further back on the grid.
As if Pirelli could do anything about it anyway, I'm guessing the tires for the 4, 5, 6 ? races are already made, like they're going to scrap these and start again
only an universal vote from all the teams would make fia and pirelli to change it,....which btw is not really possibleUnc1eM0nty wrote: ↑08 Jun 2019, 20:56As if Pirelli could do anything about it anyway, I'm guessing the tires for the 4, 5, 6 ? races are already made, like they're going to scrap these and start again
The team need to get on with figuring this out
His position is obvious but I was pointing out that those Mediums should be fine.search wrote: ↑08 Jun 2019, 20:56well, no, apart from standing 5 or 6 spots further back on the grid.Restomaniac wrote: ↑08 Jun 2019, 20:53Surely that’s no real diffrence than if he had qualified on them?

No action taken.
The Stewards acknowledge that the Driver of Car 4 slowed sufficiently and re-joinedthe Track in a safe manner. Furthermore, given the offence was committed duringFree Practice 3, no sporting advantage was gained. The competitors are reminded, that during Qualifying Practice and the Race the RaceDirector’s notes will be enforced in a stricter manner.
yeah, sure, they should be fine in the way that he can go for a 1 stop, but overall it's still far from perfect.Restomaniac wrote: ↑08 Jun 2019, 20:59His position is obvious but I was pointing out that those Mediums should be fine.search wrote: ↑08 Jun 2019, 20:56well, no, apart from standing 5 or 6 spots further back on the grid.Restomaniac wrote: ↑08 Jun 2019, 20:53Surely that’s no real diffrence than if he had qualified on them?

I can't see it now, perhaps i'll have a look after qualy, anyway he was saying what a disaster that Week1 concept was, losing 2.5s to start with, and whether Scarbs calls it outwashing after all it didn't workLM10 wrote: ↑08 Jun 2019, 20:13Those endplates were not inwashing. Scarbs explained in one of his videos how it was a clever way of outwash.
Edit: I just noticed that you wrote it was James who told the endplates were inwashing. Would like to watch that. Do you have a link?
