Interesting to see that Lando was faster than Max in S2 and S3, while Carlos was faster than Max in S1 and S2 losing it in S3.

This is the best I have felt during a qualifying as a McLaren fan for years. It feels amazing. I understand the team has more to improve to take the fight for podiums and wins, but the upwards trend lately has been just joyful for me. Very glad for them, I hope they continue improving throughout the year. I was giggling like an idiot during the whole of qualifying, it was awesome. Hopefully we get some valuable points in the race tomorrow.

Mclaren much more stable and overall better than red bull over kerbs (bouncing a lot less), it's also faster on the straights. It just lacks some ultimate corner speed in the high speed stuff.

Well what can I say other than WHAT A TEAM! What a turn around from last year. They’ve got their heads down, they’re not giving up and results, well, they’re are clearly starting to come. Really proud of the team. Keep pushing, we’ll get there!
