We have made so many good choices this year. We should have done better. I cant think a reason why they did not pitted him. The worst thing is that he dont have the pace to get near to the other in front of him.

In fairness... I guess they were expecting Ric to get stuck behind Albon (who still hasn’t pit) and that it would have allowed him to build a gap... There is a chance the Hards will also be going off at the end.

They definitely misjudged it.

Unluckily Norris doesn’t have enough pace to catch Kvyat and Hulk to try and get in the points.

He needed to be in the 1:29’s and lapping in the high 1:30’s

P6 for Carlos! Fantastic race... He defended brilliantly against what today was a faster car (Renault).

A shame for Norris... Simply unlucky... But that’s Motorsport... Albon stayed out until the end showing that the Mediums could make it (although ended behind Lando).

Hard earned points... Harder than we would have liked... 21 points lead

Still we increased our distance from Renault by one more point. Now that is consistency to be able to gain more points than our rivals in a GP where for some reason we aren't faster. BTW i still think we are overrall the fastest midfield despite this minor setback.

RIC was faster but had DRS almost the entire race. Would love to hear an explanation from the team as to why they didn't pit NOR a 2nd time when RIC did because we were clearly racing him

What a race! SAI earned this P6! Bad luck for NOR and we have yet to see the "big" update on this car as Renault already brought it in France!

Norris got screwed by the Safety Car.

He got screwed by the Safety car and got screwed by the top 10 tire rule of having to start on the tires with the best time in Q2. That rule is screwing the best of the midfield.

Didn't they brought that big update here? If yes it seems to be needing tweaking a little more.

From reports, some updates “in the middle of the car” which I believe were bargeboards, not too sure if they run the new floor. The new suspension was definitely not used. The reports further stated more coming for Germany, fingers crossed they can find a couple of tenths.

Wasn't the new floor an update or something or was it a small one and we expect a big one in Germany?

Also this rule in Q2 is really pathetic.
