Trump's cost and effect. Expect subsides from the EU. F1 too good marketing outlet for Merc brand. I don't see them cutting into their competitive just to save a few tens of millions.

Not Trump, bad Asia sales.
And subsidies are undefensable for these billion dollar companies who are spending hundreds of millions on football clubs, F1, star endorsements etc. And last quarters they made billions of profits. Let them cut in those programs first.
