They said that it would take 3-4 months to change their car philosophy. In the mean time, I believe they said they will stick with the current philosophy and make changes to it to try to recover as much downforce as possible. Even in theory changing the whole car concept sounds daunting, I don't believe any team could do such a thing in-season.
