Well they're gonna lose around half. Although it's likely that one of them will blow. Wouldn't be surprised with McLaren's luck/incompetence that Leclerc and Hamilton will crash.
I also believe is the 4th car, just out of consistency... But, I don’t expect any DNF’s for Renault and actually hope that isn’t the case... We need Renault to be as reliable as possible, since any problems they can encounter are problems that can trickle to Mclaren.Darth-Piekus wrote:Despite today's setback I still believe that McLaren is the best 4th car. The luck of Renault will run out and I'm sure they are gonna also have Dnfs in the next races. If they are not able to pass us now that we had 2 Dnfs in two races I don't think they will be able to pass us.
I will not watch the last lap thoughSmallSoldier wrote: ↑08 Sep 2019, 16:19Lando is in the points, but definitely lacking some pace... Hope that he can keep P10 from Gasly.

What I meant by Dnf is that some people think that 22 points is not enough because they expect more Dnfs from McLaren. However people don't count the fact that Renault could also have Dnf. 40 points give us that advantage to have some Dnfs and still be 4th. Also now McLaren is bringing the final huge update and there is no other Monza like truck where it was our weak point. Our superior downforce and the upgrade should secure that 4th placeSmallSoldier wrote: ↑08 Sep 2019, 16:21I also believe is the 4th car, just out of consistency... Exactly... Renault chose the right time to perform with the cars that should have been clearly ahead of them out of their race.RonDennis wrote:Albon will get close to Hulkenberg.
We also shouldn't forget that this race is quite special, because the gaps are relatively close and Albon, Verstappen and Vettel aren't in their usual positions.
I see what you mean... The reality is that this is the worst case scenario for the team... Not only DNF’ing from a good scoring position (Sainz), but both Renaults taking advantage of the Top 3 losing places (VER and VET).Darth-Piekus wrote:What I meant by Dnf is that some people think that 22 points is not enough because they expect more Dnfs from McLaren.
