Perhaps. Still though that is a sufficient result but we need to do something about those Crashers behind us. We are losing precious points and the 4th place should have been over by now.

Yesm I totally forgot that dumb rule. He had damage but was able to keep same pace with the cars around him

Good race by Lando. Team should look into pitstops, Lando had a 4s pitstop when he was about 2s behind Albon. There was a chance there. Crash on lap 1, unfortunate but it happens.

Yep, they had all kinds of issues with Sainz on his pitstop, not to mention what happened to Sainz in the last race.

Great race from Lando and Sainz looked like he could snatch a point out of nowhere... As many have pointed, the team need to keep looking into the pitstop issues that have plague them in the last couple of races... But, it doesn’t take away from a good race for the team.

The lead to Renault grew again today, the car was the best of the rest and hopefully they will keep building towards the next few races.

McLaren had a great race, despite Sainz his misfortune on lap 1. We extended our lead over Renault and it looks like we are closing the gap to the frontrunners bit by bit. I hope at the start of next season in Australia we could qualify <1 sec from pole. It took us a while, but we’re getting there.

Good race by Lando, I was surprised how he managed to stay in touch with the leading pack on the first stint.... another bad luck for SAI on the opening lap, however I think our car now is competitive on most of the tracks on the calendar and that is a good sing going forward for 2020. Also we managed to scrap a few points back on Renault so overall a solid weekend.

I have the same feeling... If they could be within a second in qualifying next season, then they could fight in the odd race for a podium on merit.
