Goes in that black hose in front of the lower wishbone
Just looks like the push rod or track rod aren't connected. From the hole it's the track rod.
The way I understood the whole thing is that they simulated the Singapore race, thought that they did not need to put "full/maximum" downforce on the car so brought the slightly below Max DF parts. In hindsight they should have gone fro Max downforce anyway as VER was saying the balance was fine, just missing overall downforce. Probably they realized it to late to either fly in the Max DF package, or even so late that it was Q time already when they found they were lacking.nzjrs wrote: ↑25 Sep 2019, 14:32I asked already, but I really wonder to what they could be referring when they said they didn't have the parts to change the setup. What is so difficult to transport that they could not bring with them? Considering they typically have parts for 1.5 complete spare cars trackside, does that imply they have another chassis version that is more/less/stiff? or some complete alternative suspension parts that were too heavy to bring with?ispano6 wrote: ↑25 Sep 2019, 14:10If max downforce was the goal and if they still lacked downforce, then they indeed were adding drag. Straight line speed was honestly concerning but probably expected with high df package thinking they can make up time in the corners. Also the fact that they didn't bring parts to be able to go in a different direction seems rather silly. I'm sure they've learned a real good lesson.
Its a fascinating insight IMO.
Oh God!!
It's not thtat mad if you remember the twin keels in the 2000s but it's aerodynamically sub-optimal, especially with the Y250.
They had changed the bargeboard profile in Singapore. There is a LuisF1 post in the previous page.
