When they finally are catching Mercedes, then come Ferrari and make a great step forward... Let's hope the race pace is as fast as Austria #-o

Verstappen just said on sky they're losing 1 second on the straights and that's simply too much to make up in the corners. He expects 4th at most tommorow.

I am sure it is not far from reality. Mercedes is complaining about the same. This is too sad

Max is talking bullshit they were sixteenth slower than Ferrari in quali but were not quicker than Ferrari in sector 3 were Redbull amazing chassis could make up time at best they are loosing 0.2 in each straight 20 hp let see what fuel upgrades can eliminate that

Ok even i am having to come to defense of Honda. Look at S1 time. Max was actually faster than Mercedes and to my suprise quicker than the slippery Renault powered cars. 3 to 4 tenths was lost in S1.
For two consecutive races Pirelli have dropped tyre pressure on quali day, hmm Ferrari aid maybe. They arent slower in the twisty bits anymore. I still expect them to struggle with tyre in race though.

verstappen's Q3 lap 1.32.310 (P4)
https://streamable.com/khkyq

vs leclerc - rough estimate using frame by frame verstappen lost 0.6s on the 3 longest full throttle sections, main straight, long left hander and the back straight. Around 1s deficit over the entire lap seems plausible, keep in my he's getting better exists almost every corner

No it's not plausible unless you can't do basic arithmetic Max qualified is 0.6 from pole

Lost 1s on straights, gained 0.3s trough corners, end result ~0.7s off pole. Pretty simple, unless you can do basic arithmetic.

It's pretty simple . Ferrari cheats with more battery so no surprise here. FIA will always ignore and let Ferrari cheat . It's only qualy they get this extra illegal power.

hamiton's onboard camera shat itself during his final q3 lap, footage is useless.
