gears and better integrating the PU in 2020 for Honda will be among things they couldn't perfect in 2019 due to miscalculations which make RBR even more optimistic for being title contender 2020 ,i want to assume.
Yeah, one would say they have gathered some data this year. In that respect it's a good thing the PU's aren't changing, would be a bummer to start all over again.
But still I'd love to see the power-2-weight ratio to increase significantly. Lighter cars, bigger fuel-flow, more revs and back to 5 PU's/yr. The cost of engines is not in producing the 3-5 PU's/yr, but in the R&D.
Current format isn't about racing, but to consolidate PU and tires; efficiency over speed.
But hoping for that to change is in vein in this over-grethanized world ..

If Albon is so good he should be fighting in the top 5 helping Max compromise Lewis strategy he still making costly mistakes

I would say that Red Bull needs a Mercedes-like chassis, otherwise Albon will not help them, no one else will help them.

Great drive by Alex Alvin. Sainz is always wrecking his race whenever he gets a chance. Monza and today.
The team isnt helping him either, some shocking race startegies. After overtaking Riccardo and building a gap and lapping much faster they pit him. No suprise that he is behind Perez who was also on fresh softs. Is Marko pulling the strings to test him? P4 was possible for him.

He is still outscoring Max since the summer. He had his fair share of incidents like Max and his team is not givong him the optimum strategy. Abu Dhabi will be one to watch out for.

The Redbull chassis is fine it just needs a tenth or 2 is didn't go through aggressive development like Mercedes

That's harsh. I think it's very obvious he would of been had he not had to pit early due to being driven into turn 1.
Recovering to 5th with 3 stops is a great achievement. Well done to him

I think 3 tenths. This is quite a lot when you need to fight for leadership.

No doubt Albon would have finished 4th if Sainz hadn't been in the way. Pretty audacious of Sainz to think he even had a chance against the front runners. Looks like Red Bull's inquiry to Ferrari has ended whatever cheat they were exploiting. Too late to make a difference this season. Hopefully Liberty will be even more critical of Ferrari and Renault and their cheating ways.

Did you watch today's race? He was compromised by Sainz. Albon would have finished 4th. Maybe even higher. He got a great start and would have overtaken Seb on the first lap. But Sainz thought he was in the mix and didn't leave room and honestly he had more room to give. He should have ceded position after running out of track which was inevitable given he was behind Albon the entire time.

I'm soo glad to see where this partnership has gone. Red bull not put too much pressure on Honda and Honda had done his homework with A+.
Also Albon make a wery good job. I hope for 2020 to get even more out of this partnership.

I find Albon better every race is doing.

In qualy, still a bit slow. But clever, agressive, fast in race. I think it is a no brainer for RB and he will drive here in 2020
They have no alternative
