Well...I was just thinking about how to test more times then the imposed 10 day limit!
Let start the thought though the following way....F1 teams aren't just one company...for example Arrows was 3 or 4 companies being TWR Arrows the F1 team, TWR the owner of the engineering department and TWR tools the owner of the tools and there was another TWR in the middle...technically the TWR Arrows F1 team went under though the other might not have even closed!.....and some other teams also work this way though usually it isn't public knowledge....I only found this out in a F1 management book and in a magazine!
Now lets look at it this way: Ferrari opens an independent company called F. Testing limited....with FIAT taking over the company! Since Ferrari Spa. is the holder of the FOA right to race in F1 they'll be limited to 10 days of testing.....with the F.Testing limited company buying the cars (for a simbolic price)....now F.Testing being independent can test the cars if they want!...whenever they want! F. Testing can also buy (for a simbolic price) new parts that have to be tested....and can invite Schumacher or Rubens to test their cars!
So technically Ferrari Spa will be testing new parts on their cars.....but under another company name which doesn't have the FOA rights nor is registered in the F1 World Championship....so they can test whenever they want!
What do you all think of this?
