Seidl has maintained that the plan to close the gap to the top 3. I guess it’s all about instilling a fighting mentality, which will be important from 2021 and beyond. Hopefully, they come out of the blocks in 2020 in a very good place, good enough that they’ll need only minimal tweaks during the first half of the season and quick switch to full focus on 2021.Mansell89 wrote: ↑28 Nov 2019, 00:37All joking aside, what will be the McLaren goal in 2020? Final year of new regs- will they be developing much into the season or will the 2021 focus come in very early indeed?
I guess my point being, would they sacrifice the fight for 4th to try to make the leap in 2021?
Next season is a really odd one I feel.
I actually wish they were switching to Mercedes next year, to have on less unknown for 2021 and gain more experience.
