I mean talk about the chassis, that clearly stunk.
Did Ferrari get a new chassis in the last few races or something? I remember their chassis doing so well in Singapore and that circuit is pretty much all sector 3 Abu Dhabi. Coming into the new season, I'd be worried with such an inexplicable loss of overall performance. They don't have the same legs on the straights and now have an even larger gap in the twisty section. I'm sure it's nothing they won't be able to figure out over the winter break.
Singapore is bumpy, Yas Marina is silky smooth, not the same thing at all.

Mercedes had a stinker in Singapore 2015, locked the front row in Abu Dhabi.
Hamilton was third row in Singapore 2017, pole in Abu Dhabi.
2015 and 2017 combined Ferrari had 5 poles. 2019 3 poles before the summer break 6 poles after the summer break. Dominance in qualifying where Red Bull and Mercedes were both noticibly befuddled by it. Hamilton claiming post break that they were losing 7 or 8 tenths in the straights compared to Ferrari.

It may be nothing but the circumstantial evidence for those who are willing to acknowledge it stinks more than Ferrari's chassis.

I don't know, I'm not an expert but the simplest of explanations are usually the right explanations. In any case, the season is over. Water under the bridge and Vettel will be sporting a yellow T bar next season.

Ted is saying:
Ferrari are apparently arguing that a technical directive is a guideline and not a sporting rule and therefore not subject to sanction.

Lol, that's what Red Bull tried in 2014. If that is the defense of Ferrari, it's not going to work out.

lol.

But what is the benefit to run more fuel than the declared ones?
Coz the TD posted above shows:
Tombazis notes that "The difference between the pre- and post-race fuel masses will be assumed to be the measured fuel mass used (which clearly includes laps to the grid, formation laps, fire-ups etc.).

"It can be compared to the integrated FFM [fuel flow meter] figures and to the fuel injectors model figures in order to provide confirmation of the validity of these readings.

"Please note that the pre-race fuel mass that gets used for this calculation is either the declared mass, or the measured mass if this has been randomly checked."

So is this how they are managing to burn more fuel than they are allowed to? and fooling the fuel flow meter?

These kinds of comments are not wanted here. Please refrain from getting personal and try to stick to arguments and respect eachothers opinion. At the moment you are presenting your opinions as fact, while I clearly said that I DISAGREE. Lets leave it there as I am not in the mood to get into a fanwar after clearly hitting a nerve.
You seem to be dismissing/ignoring any facts that disagree with your opinion.

Is Russel the best driver in F1 because everyone else is in a faster car? Clearly not. Being in a quick car doesn't exclude the driver also being quick.
Pot calling kettle black
Come back with less ridiculous examples.

By your own example Russell must be one of the worst drivers ever

Correction: Mercedes crushed the opposition this year. See Bottas (average driver) his result
I don't see Bottas getting those stats? Perhaps you can link them for me?
Bottas is P2 in the championship by far, while he is widely regarded as not anywhere near nr. 1 driver material

No, I am a grown up. And this is supposedly not the f1technical Lewis Hamilton fan thread, or is it?

What is going to happen with LEC now?

How does that diminish the quality of Hamilton's drives?

A personal attack?

Perhaps you could engage with my examples instead of ignoring them or answering with insults? Your continued failure to do so merely proves my point.

Because it is waaaaay easier to get those achievements than when actually having competition who got machinery to challenge. It is like a tenniser who got a special racket. Doesnt mean he is not a very good tennis player, does mean it is way easier. Just compare Hams stats pre and post joining AMG. Before he was on track to get around Lauda stats, now after 6 years of ultra dominant cars in which he also drove well, give you that, and he is suddenly on route to become the most succesfull. Do you think he would have gotten those stats had he driven equally well but in a Red Bull?

Or do I have to weight in?

yes i don't know. I mean just for one car? And isn't it a bit obvious, if it's deliberate? And i thought Abu Dhabi isn't a high consumption circuit and they often or generally don't start with the full 110kg anyway
