IE bookmark organizer?

Post

Does anyone know of a good program that would allow me to re-organize my Internet Explorer bookmarks? I have "imported" several backups over the years, so I have like 7 levels of folders deep just to GET to the folder I want from my first backup.

Also, I have several redundancies, so if there is a program that the community uses (even paid software) please PM me and let me know!

Thanks!

Just saw this freeware bookmarker yesterday, I'd be interested in everyone's opinion of the program and the freewaregenius site. IMO it's one of the best review sites I've found.

"Description: Tidy Favorites is a free extension for Internet Explorer and Firefox that allows users to manage bookmarks visually as thumbnails that can be dragged and resized on a workspace, similar to icons on a desktop. It offers the ability to organize favorites within combination of tabs and folders, and provides a “drop stack” for quick, temporary bookmarking of URLs that you might want to check out then dispose of afterwards. Tidy Favorites can be installed portably."

alternatively you can export your bookmarks to an HTML docment and edit it.

That is what I had originally thought of, but I half expected that this was not an uncommon program, and someone had a tool to make it a drag+drop experience.

Carlos' suggestions actually didnt pan out well, so the hunt is still on...

If you can't organize them well enough try this one, http://www.dzsoft.com/favorites-search.html. Adds explorer bar to search your favorites.
