Hope so.
.
Didn't they sign new deals last season?
.
Maybe it has something to do with Carlos.
He arrived two hours ago in Davos for the World Economic Forum 2020.
A moment ago on his Insta story a video, something with CNBC. :?:

[ 2020 ] Mclaren F1 Team - Renault

Post

Posted it in the Renault - Engine thread... If true, it could spell very good for Mclaren this season (Renault only been behind Ferrari in terms of power).

Also, it seems that last season’s latest spec wasn’t the one ultimately planned due to the reliability issues at the beginning of the season.

For 2020 the focus seems to be on packaging, cooling and integration... On the other hand (and I may interpreting it incorrectly), it would seem that there aren’t many updates planned for 2020 from the engine standpoint, with Renault dedicating 50% of their resources towards 2021.

Good material. Personally, I have never seen a McLaren or Renault team complaining about the power plant’s power during the campaign for the 2019 season. Renault needs to tighten the reliability of its engines, and then they will be attractive to customers.

Strange how all the manufacturers believe their engine is best nowadays... someone’s certainly deluded

That"s not true:

- Ferrari (Binotto) said they are proud to have the best engine
- Mercedes (wolff) said that Ferrari is ahead, Renault and Honda close (but plan big update for 2020)
- Renault (Taffin) admit that Ferrari is ahead, and that they are close to Mercedes
- Honda (Tanabe) is happy to have closed the gap, but is still declaring to be behind the top engines

So I don't see anyone lying

Fits in with what the factory are saying at the minute - nothing noticable extra in qualifying for the initial spec but about a tenth a lap in race mode on some tracks.

The engines are very close to each other, and no one is showing their cards. All of the engines have shown their highs past season. On raw power output the most powerful engine seemed to differ at every round.

Inside of rear wing endplates. Not too big in terms of money, but still better than nothing.
If i would get the money to start my own F1 team, i would revive Arrows

Not sure it matters to teams anymore, sponsor is a sponsor?

Yeah, it's just a relatively minor one.
