Posted it in the Renault - Engine thread... If true, it could spell very good for Mclaren this season (Renault only been behind Ferrari in terms of power).
Also, it seems that last season’s latest spec wasn’t the one ultimately planned due to the reliability issues at the beginning of the season.
For 2020 the focus seems to be on packaging, cooling and integration... On the other hand (and I may interpreting it incorrectly), it would seem that there aren’t many updates planned for 2020 from the engine standpoint, with Renault dedicating 50% of their resources towards 2021.
