Thanks, hopefully i can make it past quali and wont get penalized after the race. I hope the +0.4 sec headroom for possible simulation differences will be enough.

The renders are getting extremely good this year. Looks like Pure Power could smell it and updated his own skills.
I was actually working on a Blender process to create cool renders of all your cars including a garage as surrounding, before I decided to jump start the season. Getting this done would be one of the things a contender or fan of MVRC could help out with.

Only a few hours to go. Keep in mind that around 0% of not properly tested parts, developed right before the deadline later turn out to work.

The car is submitted. With high hopes for new car, its debut must be postponed and seeing super weird behavior of some solutions, I came to the conclusion that very likely I have to start build the car from scratch to the completely new concept. Will it work? I have no clue. Add to that the time for development I planned to have got much shorter makes whole experience much more tricky to handle.

Therefore still good luck for all for upcoming race!

Just submitted the car, can’t say I’m too happy about it (am I ever?). Development felt a lot more like a process of elimination, then actual engineering. It's not great compared to my car from last year, but I decided to submit it anyway. I only discovered the root of my problems 24 hours ago (if I’m not mistaken). I have a few things I wanted to try out, that you should be seeing by the next race. I will try to post some renders tomorrow.

I do not have big expectations, as I lost the last month to develop the diffuser... and the gain is minimal, but anyway... I will follow the olympic principal

Car submitted. A very convenient CAD explosion made me do some wanky changes straight to the STL files, with good aerodynamic result, but hideous looks
Cooling is there and COP is... somewhere. Lots of new solutions and potential to unlock. Can't wait to see everybody's entry.
BTW, I think I know the new common feature...

Anyway, I've only seen nice cars so far. PurePower has come up with a sexy design, and Spacehead's car could be an interesting surprise.
Can't wait to see the official lineup!
