This forum contains threads to discuss teams themselves. Anything not technical about the cars, including restructuring, performances etc belongs here.
Engine rankings based on last year are a bit risky because of the new measuring devices. What i see this weekend and in testing, i would say the Ferrari engine is the one which losses by far the most. Renault looks strong enought.
Couldn't be more happy for Renault. They have at last got it together. Maybe Haas should switch to Renault. They need a new customer since they recently have been ditched by Mc Laren. Congratulations to the guys in Viry. They have really done a great job after all.
The driver’s really need to stay as far away from the yellow curbs as possible... Mclaren brought 5 wings to Austria for this weekend, they “destroyed” 3 already and had to fly in 2 more wings to be ready for the race today.
Also, the team does feel that Racing Point should be faster during the race, the goal for the day is to put points on the table more than a podium.
Also, there are at least 6 more races already “on the schedule” after the initial 8... Mugello, Hockenheim, Portimao, Imola, China and Abu Dhabi among them... But of course nothing is set in stone It seems that racing in Canada, the US, Mexico and Brazil is already a no go for 2020.
Our target is to keep if possible that 4th place. It's best not to battle with Verstappen as that would ruin our tyres. I say let's try to keep Albon behind as a shield from the Racing Points.
Imagine though if Verstappen crashes with the two Mercedes and we get to lead a race. In any case we got to be away from him and drive cool and controlled.
Honestly I’d be very happy with 1 car in top8 and one in top10. keeping 4th is extremely unrealistic and will lead to disappointment. Let’s get through the first few laps unscathed and settle into a rhythm. Verstappen can’t afford ill judged moves in such a short season so hopefully it’ll be clean
We shal see soon if it's unrealistic or not to keep that 4th place. Still there is a possibility that Hamilton will get penalised today as he was called again by the Stewards after Ferrari and Red Bull protested yesterdays decision.
It looks like Hamilton will start 5th. This means Norris is on the clean side, P3, I wouldn't be surprised if he jumps ahead of Verstappen after the first turn. It could be spicy, Hamilton should launch well behind Norris, could tangle with Verstappen.

I must say then congratulations to the team for making another step towards their 1st place throne. It was really important to get that 3rd place and to the clean side. Now to do a clean, cool and collected race and keep the Racing Points, Ferraris and Albon's Red Bull behind. It's also important that Lewis Hamilton will push the two Racing Points to burn their rubber and be a shield for us for 1 or 2 laps I hope.

Important for the team. Don't clash with Verstappen and burn the tires. Do a calm, cool and collected race. We are racing with the Racing Points. If possible put Albon as a shield between Lando and the Racing Points. After all the winner of the midfield will be the one who will be best in the complete package.
Tires like you say are critical. Bring them in slowly. With these temperatures tire life is crucial. A first lap battle and locking brakes really isn’t what we need
It's starting. Good luck for the team. Clean start. No need to clash with Verstappen. Keep Albon behind as a shield between Norris and the Racing Points and Ferraris. Expecting also Sainz to bounce back. We need as many points as possible.
