Anyone else notice the brake dust and how it showed the airflow rear of the front tyre. The dust was ejected sideways by a long way and then went upwards. There's a clear zone above the ground to the rear of the tyre. Looks like their strategy for getting clean air behind the tyre is working well.

That this is the most unexpected variable in the guessing game (and not wheter they will be beaten) says enough about the state of F1.

Race is the wrong word, it should be a cooperation. No one finishes first without it

Mercedes never specifies if it's a power train gearbox issue and not a DAS gearbox issue.

I was scolded by my mate zibby43 and a few others for under-estimating Redbull a few weeks ago. When have Christian Horner and Helmut Marko not over-estimated their chances? I like the way the media built up the narrative of Verstappen possibly leading the WDC after the first 3 races. I'll be expecting them to eat their words in Budapest this weekend. If I may borrow Verstappen's line on Hamilton: Adrian Newey is good but he's not God.

Anyway, their only chance of a decent season rests on Verstappen.
