Quite some lap by Hamilton. Verstappen's off at the end of the lap meant the gap is bigger than it might have otherwise been. Being second is not such an issue tomorrow because the track will be green and clean for all grid spots. Being in P2 means the inside line in to the first corner. That might be a benefit for Max at the start.

The future is good when you see the number of young guns showing off their ability.

Which idiot had the interviews next to a loud engine?

I don't know why, but Ferrari have been terrible in rainy conditions for several seasons.
Not really, mainly just poor driving. Today LEC was hampered by bad timing, but he should have done better himself.

True. They really need some expert in setup in that area- Maybe u got something there. Alonso, Rai, Vettle were all time in struggle. Dont mention Massa. For LEC i got no idea he was atm close to VET.

I'm surprised by Ocon, he really showed Daniel the way in the rain today.
Me as well, he might make me swallow my words about him

Although it seems that RIC was always in the wrong position traffic wise.
I was hooked on Daniel's onbaord and he had plenty of space, Lewis and Max did well with less space to the cars in front, Daniel was struggling and just didn't look confident.

Difference from P1 to P2 is bigger than from P2 to P10. Let that sink in.

Ok thanks, I saw him slowing for space several times so I thought he was struggling for space.

Just seen the Hamilton lap again. He went purple in every sector so there is no way Verstappen was quicker anyway but by god that’s an amazing lap. Bottas must just be sat there wondering ‘How?’.
