It's a nonsense blaming Honda. Look at Ferrari, is more strong here, where the PU isn't important. But in Austria they were nowhere, and Pérez didn't had speed to pass Albon even with DRS, so Honda is good so far...

Honda is not to blame, it's RB not improving the chassis much over last year despite such radical changes at the front.

It's obvious they have an aero stalling problem. The rear end isn't giving the drivers confidence. Particularly mid corner and exit as that's when they tend to spin.

They can probably gain half a second if they fix that, but times a ticking.

Perhaps engine and diff settings are not married to the chassis all that well.

Looks Max has already thrown the towel.

When Redbull were with Renault they demanded that they close the power gap in no time maybe they will come to the realization that it's not easy.

Yeah, look at Albon. Not even able to improve a Williams time. It's a DOG

Cry, definitely cry, they were faster last year in qualifying. They can't even beat their own lap time of last year, while Mercedes improved by .7 seconds. They literally went backwards, not even being level, they actually regressed, made a worse car than last year.

Oh wow, didn't realize it was that bad.

I'm also dissapointed the car is a dogs breakfast of old parts slammed together overnight. Not good signs for the development trajectory this year

I'm sure it's better in the race, but the qualifying is very disappointing.

Time to stop watching races until 2022 I think . Max with the AT could have done a better job than with the RB16. What a mess, and what a boring year it will be. Mercedes could have done the pole with medium tires, and no pressure #-o

A disaster, the 4th fastest car, even behind the Ferraris.
If there is a world championship for non-sensible talking and b*****iting, it will go undoubtedly for Helmut Marko.
Everything is wrong, Albon, the Engine and even the car.
4 Cars with Honda engines, one of them has reached Q3 with a miracle and even didn't try a lap in Q3 as precaution and the other 3 cars complained every stint and every lap.
Albon is just a disaster, just as the whole junior-programme is destroyed and I think seriously in the next 5 years the program would vanish completely and the Fer&Merc programs are doing much way better and more attractive for talented drivers.

Im impressed Verstappen put the laps in that he did, given how qualifying went from bad to worse. He kept his calm. Albon needs a good day tomorrow to say the least.

Redbull should have listened to Gasly the car was difficult to drive from last year if you listen to both drivers it moves the team forward.one man team as Alonso has shown don't work.
