Unreal recovery drive from both Alex and Max. Probably exceeded the maximum result expected with the starting positions and the car this weekend. But overall about 100000% better than expected. Need to sort the car for next races but still, Max earned that. Great race to watch!
I honestly think the pace was masked by the conditions on Saturday. On Friday they only ran in the morning, then the rain came and washed the circuit, the track was rubbering in and the low ambient temperatures didn't let them get the most of the car. But the race showed that the pink panther is quite a bit slower in race pace(the only pace that matters) than the RB16.
Mercedes is unbeatable, the fact Max barely got 2nd despite the disastrous start for Bottas shows there's a big gap between them and Red Bull. Hamilton was easily .6 per lap quicker than Verstappen.
