Engine power

All that has to do with the power train, gearbox, clutch, fuels and lubricants, etc. Generally the mechanical side of Formula One.

Who cares what how many horses are under the engine cover its who's standing on the top of the podium that counts.

Fact: Ferrari have the only bullet-proof engine in F1.

well guest, allow me to remind you that this IS a Technical website, and most of us here are interested in engine performance. If you want to argue about who gets to the podium, go to another website. I enjoy discussing and reading about engines, aerodynamics, chassis, and all the other little details that still make the sport more than just who's on top of the podium at the end.

I wasn't trying to discount the importance of engine power but rather trying to say that there is more to an F1 car than engine power. I too am interested in engine performance but it seems that there are so many opinions, rumours I can't decide what is actually a fact.
