F2004 scale model RC

Post

Hi guys!
A few days ago I finished a scale model of the Ferrari F2004, drived by Schumacher. It is made with glass fiber and carbone fiber, aluminium, nilon,...
It has a gas engine of .21 in^3 and it is radio controlled. To see more details of this model please go to:

I hope you like it.
Cheers

That is really cool. How many hours (approx) did you spend on it?

Yes, I got all the plans of the car. But I can't show it.
I took all the mesurements of other samller scale models, and a lot of pictures of the real car.

excellent, would like to have one for myself, especially an MP4-19 then :)

Anyway, I have a few questions:
- how do you make the tyres? are they bought?
- and how have you painted your car that shiney and with all sponsors there?

great!

great work Shocked
It can go about 60 km/h. So it means, that is like the real car would run at 300km/h. it is not slow...

Yes, I bought the tyres and the rims. They are a RC 1:4 scale, like they use in the F1 class. I tryed to built my own wheels, but it would cost so much money.
The color of my car is one of the official Ferrari painting for road cars. It really seems the real F1 color, in the pics it never seems the color that you can see live.
And the sponsors are made by me. I drew it with Corel Draw, and printed it with my print, on a special paper.

My next project will be the nicest and the fastest car of 2005! Lets wait to see all the new cars.
Sory for my bad level of english :?

The shine...probably comes from the gel coat applied on the fibre glass or carbon (don't know which he used) that gives the final finish to the car....and then it's probably waxed.
