On the back of their partnership announcement with Ineos, Mercedes AMG F1 have today revealed the new car livery for the 2020 Formula One season. The new partnership sees the new silver arrows featuring red highlights for the first time since Mercedes returned to F1 in 2012.
This forum contains threads to discuss teams themselves. Anything not technical about the cars, including restructuring, performances etc belongs here.
What's your intention with the points about Toto favouring Rosberg, and Hamilton throwing people under the bus? Seems somewhat inflammatory and provocative.
Why is it inflammatory and provocative and to who? To Rosberg, Hamilton, Toto or employees of Mercedes? If they are in this forum, they are welcome to comment.
My feeling is that it's trying to illicit a certain response from Hamilton fans. Whether I'm right or wrong it certainly seems that way intended. You are of course free to disagree.
I am a Hamilton fan (and of many other talented drivers') and I don't feel it that way. What is that element about being a fan of a driver that makes one feel offended about a comment made by some stranger to that driver? If anyone wants to participate in a discussion, they can put forward their POV. That is not to say, it is inciting or provocating.
I'm talking with the team here, I always got the vibe the team and Toto looked more happy whenever Rosberg won.
Hmm, you should go back and watch the 2014 Italian grand prix highlights. Toto cracked a smirk when Rosberg missed the first turn and Lewis got past. People here and a lot of other places on the internet said that was proof Toto favored hamilton.

It's my opinion that was shared by plenty other people on Autosport forum.
I got the impression that the mechanics and Toto seem more elated whenever Nico grabbed pole or won a race.
And it's a fact that Hamilton was hinting that something was going on in 2014 and 2016.

If you say so. I think most on here at least would suggest Toto and the team favoured Hamilton, if indeed either driver at all. Personally, I think they have always been very neutral.

Must be conflicting views with the other forum then.
As for Hamilton hinting that something was going on, don't you believe he said that?

"My questions are to Mercedes – we have lost so many engines," Hamilton told the BBC after the race. "There are eight drivers and mine are the only ones who has failed.
"Someone has to give me some answers and it is not acceptable.
"Something or someone doesn't want me to win this year."

I definitely remember him asking some rhetorical questions in the heat of the moment during and after races and retirements- as all drivers do when they are frustrated- but I wouldn't exactly equate that to 'throwing the team under the bus'.

Obviously he never thew anybody directly under the bus but we know he was hinting at more out of direct frustration.
Last time i've checked this was the 2020 AMG Mercedes F1 team, not the 2014 team thread, nor the 'why i dont like hamilton thread'. Does this endless and needless Lewis bashing which has nothing to do with the 2020 team nor the 2020 season nor anything F1 TECHNICAL at all, really need to keep going on and on?
"Explain the ending to F1 in football terms"
"Hamilton was beating Verstappen 7-0, then the ref decided F%$& rules, next goal wins
while also sending off 4 Hamilton players to make it more interesting"

The same can be said bringing up his past achievements, they are not part of the 2020 discussion either.
This is not people bashing Hamilton it's just telling it like it is.
Hamilton can be unsettled when things aren't going his way and I imagine that could put the backs up of those working their backsides off in the garage.
As for my opinion that Toto favoured Nico, I also like you guys had the feeling that Button was favoured at McLaren.
If all that is true then you have to ask yourself why that is, it just doesn't make sense for a star driver.
Stop making it personal, folks. This is not the posters-posting-about-posters forum. No one comes here to read that, so just don't make such posts. They only breed further animosity.

There was a time in 2016 when I was convinced the left rear tire change was always .5s slower for Hamilton. Who knows.
