Cyril did really good after bad year they had last year. He evaluated where problems lie. He fired Chester, hired new aero guy and got Fry as leader of their chassis department to sort out Enstone side. They bounced back and now some results are showing.PlatinumZealot wrote: โ01 Sep 2020, 17:35In my view Cyril is doing a very good job with bis resources. Fighting for best of the rest in the last three years.. You can't expect more than that with his budget.
Idk if I would agree with Mattiaci. We barely saw enough of him. Didnโt he only hold office for like 7 months?Manoah2u wrote: โ01 Sep 2020, 16:44I clearly agree on the Cyril part, he's not the right man for the job, he fits in the line of people like Claire, Kaltenborn, Binotto, Mattiacci etc.raymondu999 wrote: โ01 Sep 2020, 14:09Ahhh. No I meant. Even in hindsight, idk if Renault would be a good proposition. I havenโt got much faith in Cyrilโs leadership.
I'd lmao if Vettel took a SEBattical, invested in the team, and in 2022 became official race driver alongside Russell and they beat Mercedes Imagine that.
It does sound story book-ish, but yesterday I had a fleeting notion of Hamiton and Woolf going there to create a new legend.
I doubt it. Wolff moved out of Williams for a reason. I donโt know/remember if he stated his reasons before but itโs like getting back with your ex - it only feels right until what split you in the first place resurfaces.
More like moving back into where you were with your ex, when they have moved outraymondu999 wrote: โ04 Sep 2020, 15:17I doubt it. Wolff moved out of Williams for a reason.
