This could be the old PU that they are still using for practice. They will likely put last weeks (new) PU in Saturday morning. So I wouldn't worry about it.

Sounds like the long runs are encouraging for Carlos. In FP1, they said he and Lando were in Red Bull territory. They’re saying it’s good in FP2 as well.

Very encouraging pace shown in FP2. But man is it tight, those 8 places behind Merc in qually could be anyone's guess. The tow deficit could be the difference between qualifying 3rd and not even reaching Q3.

The car has made a step forward in low downforce guise. I just hope the engine issue that plagued Lando is properly sorted for tomorrow. I don't know, may be they were using his first PU today. They may install his second PU from Spa tomorrow.

Solid start to the weekend... It seems the team has found a good setup already and further refinement for tomorrow should hopefully yield some gains.

But, as mentioned before the grid is so close to each other behind the Mercs that any small mistakes could not only cost positions, but could even push out of Q3... The drivers will make the difference in qualifying.
