Well, that's looking really bad right now. The only hope I have is that the AT are doing superb with the same PU. We'll see tomorrow...

is gasly's engine dead?
Gasly: “Today was by far the best Friday since the start of the season. We were sixth this morning and fourth in the afternoon, and I must say the feeling in the car was really good! I could push and managed to put in some good laps.
Unfortunately, we had a small issue with a damper at the end of the session while doing the long run, so we had to stop a bit earlier than the others, but generally speaking, we are pretty happy. The low downforce set-up that we have here in Monza works quite well, but I feel like we can still improve a bit for tomorrow. I think there will be a few surprises with the new engine mode rules, so we’ll see. It’s very tight and, especially here with the tows in Qualifying, it will be important to get it right.”

Verstappen is a clear 3rd best but the Mercedes seem to be a good half second a lap up front.

surely Max still has more pace Norris and Gasly finished faster than him in fp2 , seems after his crash never had the right setup for some reason.

Any comments on any of the update? Albon complained about oversteer I think was FP1 and then Max spun out. Is it the same issue with handling or just low df?

Oversteer was probably from the Honda lump making way too much power.

As Albon has been complaining of sudden 'snap' from the front, I think they have been reducing the front DF , so this would induce oversteer would it not?
When arguing with a fool, be sure the other person is not doing the same thing.

What I don’t understand, they talk about Max speed, but they list everyone else also.

Mclaren and Renault will challenge Redbull in qualifying tomorrow. Race pace, obviously Redbull has the edge but i am not so sure about qualifying with tow being worth half a second. Albon especially looks really shaky.

No, less front downforce induces understeer
