Ferrari SF1000

Thank you. 2019 Bahrain-qualifying level is what I expect to be normal. SF1000 runs the outlets at what seems to be Mexico level every race. I don't know what's happened to the PU cooling in 1 year

Ferrari has never told that their problem was drag rather than engine. Don't make up things. They told that they lost engine power and were left with huge amount of drag. They were probably going to be fine with the monstrous PU they built the car around. Put the Ferrari PU into the Mercedes and it will appear very draggy as well.

As for the outlets, if you can show me a side by side of both cars and show me the 4x larger outlets on the SF1000 I'll do whatever you wish.
Binotto said multiple times that the problem with the car is drag. In pre season especially I remember him saying that a lot before revealing eventually that the engine is weaker. But that's not what I'm talking about. I'm saying Ferrari spread it into the media through journalists they control, not themselves directly. And I'm not making anything up, a FUnoAT journo is the one who said this

It won't make the car faster, but it will make it look a hell of a lot better! This current color they use with its flat or matte sheen is the worst paint on a Ferrari F1 car, quite possibly, ever.

We'll see how "retro" they really go with the paint job! If they really go retro there won't be a single sponsorship decal on that car!

Which actually might well suit their sponsors at the moment!

LOL

PS: I remember the "800th" race anniversary car run in Turkey, 2010. Wow, that was 10 years ago already! I'm getting old.

I agree with you. I just hoped something new on the car, but I think that they will not bring anything new.

No pictures of Ferrari yet ? Am I right in thinking they are doing a 1 off special livery for this one ?

I think Ferrari should bring not only new livery but 2 cars from the past...iconic f1 seaters like the F2004...ok they would be disqualified but I don't think they LL be better with the SF1000...

I tried this and I had understeer, I tried that and I had oversteer, at the end of the corner I just run out of talent

If we're talking getting disqualified, they may as well use last year's engine just to see where they'd be.

Bring serious ( ) Ferrari could do worse than treat this as an extended test session. just rip as much as thy can off the car and do some laps wit what ever they have at hand. As long as they keep a set of hard tyres for sunday, use up the rest getting some results. Even if they have to 'borrow' from Haas or Alfa
