Here is another one.
Add me to this list as #3.
Are you new to the sport? The Honda-cokey has been in full effect in F1 for the last 60 years. They join, spend lots of money catching up to the opposition then up and flounce away. After 5-10 years typically they start again. They’ve done this 4 times up to now.
No @mogster I am not, but only have been following for 10 or so years.
First I was a young Hammy fan when he was killing it with the underdog Vodaphone against Vettel.
Then became super excited for the tech the 2014 formula would bring.
When I heard Honda was coming I was ecstatic as I have loved Honda since the 70's when their Elsinores cam out.
Then I painfully watched them get slaughtered week after week in races, bashed by almost everyone (mostly Mclaren), all while their hands were tied behind their backs with the bs token system.
(I fully understand that Honda underestimated the formula in the beginning)
I followed the Honda Power Unit thread religiously for years and really enjoyed the insights and then they finally started to turn with AT.
More solid progress with RB and AT so I had become even more encouraged to watch even with all of the bullocks of recent F1 rules/politics.
Now I'm thinking its just not worth it to follow anymore as most of the reasons I used to stay up with F1 no longer exist.
