Doesn’t the mandated use of a ‘single engine mode’ excludes the use of ‘overtake button’?. Isn’t the use of overtake button an unsustainable performance-enhancing engine mode?.

Doesn’t the mandated use of a ‘single engine mode’ excludes the use of ‘overtake button’?. Isn’t the use of overtake button an unsustainable performance-enhancing engine mode?.

I understand that the overtake mode now, is now not concurrently an engine mode and deployment mode override. It is now only a deployment mode override where it deploys an increased amount of energy deployment to achieve higher top speed.

Previously overtake mode could possibly be used to override both engine and deployment modes to get higher top speeds, the new directive enforces it to only overriding the deployment state now, leaving the engine mode untouched.
