Oh my goodness. We haven’t seen a post by him in a while, I knew something was wrong :(. I hope he’s going to be ok and the fractures are not very serious. This is such sad news just before his return he’s got no luck at all.

I really hope so. What a terrible thing to happen.

INFORMS @ElTransistorOC

NEWS @OndaCero_es
@alo_oficial DOES NOT HAVE any fracture. He has a severe blow to the face and has lost a tooth. He is still admitted to the hospital awaiting new tests

This seems more positive news

Now AS saying only bruising to his face so that’s very good to hear he’s mostly ok and no broken bones
Well, I'm calmer, a good scare, but it seems that @alo_oficial he's fine and his face is only slightly touched. For all of you who are asking around here. Goodnight

Is this guy the unluckiest man in F1 history or what?? Hope he's on the mend and back behind the wheel soon
(PS: How long until top drivers have cycling, rallying, other wheel involving activities banned in their contracts??)

Hardly.
Without intending to post something others would concider 'distasteful,
I think Bianchi and Hubert (on path to F1 atleast) would greatly think otherwise, and much bigger Kubica.
I'd concider Zanardi a much greater 'unluckiest man in (F1) history'.

Actually, he'd better be described as LUCKY, his crash with Mclaren doing a corkscrew in the air could have ended easily fatal. A cycling accident easily can turn fatal too.

Either way, if he's just having had a blow to the face and fractured tooth, he'll be on the grid no problem,
he'll probably even be present in pre-season testing.

while also sending off 4 Hamilton players to make it more interesting"

I immediately thought of Nicky Hayden when reading this. Bob Wollek died this way.

Well, in the comparisons you made, those drivers paid a much heavier price but for singular incidents. I meant it more in terms of the repeated bad luck that ALO has had through his career (including his career choices). Anyways, hope to see him behind the wheel in Bahrain.

I had Alex Zanardi in my thoughts. Lucky for Fernando it wasn't life threatening or debilitating.
