I wonder what you thought about the Marlboro years, with an almost identical livery every year.

It's not the fact that it's almost identical to last years livery, I just simply think its a boring design, nothing going on at all. The 2019 was better IMO, with the blue rear end, and the triangles.Ground Effect wrote: ↑16 Feb 2021, 09:20I wonder what you thought about the Marlboro years, with an almost identical livery every year.
The livery could be dog sh*t for all I care as long as the cars fast or at least building off last years momentum then I couldn’t care less for the livery, the likes of Mercedes, redbull, Renault/alpine, Ferrari have never bothered with radically altering liveries no need as long as the car does as expected nothing else mattersHolm86 wrote: ↑16 Feb 2021, 15:38It's not the fact that it's almost identical to last years livery, I just simply think its a boring design, nothing going on at all. But of course it's just personal preference
I don't really get your rationale for disliking the livery SO much you would actually come on a forum on the McLaren section and say it's boring, especially when it's extremely similar to one you just said you like.Holm86 wrote: ↑16 Feb 2021, 15:38It's not the fact that it's almost identical to last years livery, I just simply think its a boring design, nothing going on at all. I second this no need for drastic livery changes colours don’t make a car fast simpleMcG wrote: ↑16 Feb 2021, 17:09I don't really get your rationale for disliking the livery SO much you would actually come on a forum on the McLaren section and say it's boring, especially when it's extremely similar to one you just said you like.Holm86 wrote: ↑16 Feb 2021, 15:38It's not the fact that it's almost identical to last years livery, I just simply think its a boring design, nothing going on at all. As an aside, getting rid of the triangles has freed up some more potential sponsor space and makes the design flow more.
Thanks for doing this!f1rules wrote:comparing this pic from amus,i added a few guidelines, and i know angles play a big role etc. but if we take the crash structure width as the determing factor, due to regulation, it does look like the undercut is more pronounced and that maybe even the sidepod shoulders are a bit narrower compared to last year
https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/arti ... yXK1D.htmlIt’s still early days and things to go through, and many more laps we still need to do, but there’s already comments I have from my own comfort side of things, but also with the driveability and the car itself. Not too many comments yet, no complaints, but it’s still early days
