Damn, they've really gone down the narrow nose concept. and is it just me or does that front wing looks pretty similar to the Mclaren?
no, i wouldnt think so, if anything it means that they're expecting the engine not to be super powerful. Because the narrow nose works best at lower speeds, whilst the large nose works best at high speeds, and is usually prone to stalling at lower speeds...
Given Alfa used tokens to do the new nose - and Ferrari are using theirs at the rear - I suspect not, unless Ferrari’s existing crash structure would already fit these kinds of aero pieces/shape (ie Ferrari can’t change what’s underneath without using tokens).
The Ferrari rear end's gonna rock if it looks this cool on the alfa
Isn't Alfa using the same updated gearbox and suspension of Ferrari? If so they have used their tokens in that area like Ferrari.f1316 wrote: ↑22 Feb 2021, 13:36Given Alfa used tokens to do the new nose - and Ferrari are using theirs at the rear - I suspect not, unless Ferrari’s existing crash structure would already fit these kinds of aero pieces/shape (ie Ferrari can’t change what’s underneath without using tokens).
But the coke bottle and engine packaging on the Alfa looks much tighter this year and that does bode well for Ferrari imo.
No, one of the two guys even said that they used both their tokens on the front and that the gearbox is the sameXwang wrote: ↑22 Feb 2021, 13:45Isn't Alfa using the same updated gearbox and suspension of Ferrari? So Alfa is going to use last year Ferrari gearbox and internal rear suspension. Did I understand correctly?ryaan2904 wrote: ↑22 Feb 2021, 13:47No, one of the two guys even said that they used both their tokens on the front and that the gearbox is the sameXwang wrote: ↑22 Feb 2021, 13:45Isn't Alfa using the same updated gearbox and suspension of Ferrari?
