I think they're at the same level of tightness (maybe Mercedes is more extreme towards the rear), the Aston maybe looks tighter because the slope on the side is at a tiny bit more upright angle than the Merc. Scarbs said Merc lifted the radiators up to try and help the undercut, that's why they look angled less steeply and gives the lesser tightness illusion

So far, in the images available, the Aston is the best looking car to my eyes. The colour just sets off the shape so well. Stunning.

Different angle of view and the lighting / colour scheme combos don't give a great idea of the shapes on the Merc.

But if you were putting money down, would it be on the Merc or the "compressed" Aston?

Compressed..? Whatever do you mean? Compromised, surely.

It was the word used by the person I quoted. I think they mean that the bodywork was tighter than on the Merc.

You should understand that Mercedes render looks different than real car. The real car looks much tighter.

That Haas is actually quite nice from the side. Nicer than I thought.

It's hard to tell exactly due to the slightly different angles of each render/photo, but otherwise it's striking how far forward the front suspension (and thus front wheels) is placed on the chassis on both the W12 and the RBR16B
