Looks like a sandstorm on the horizon. This might seriously hamper running in the afternoon.

If the weather keeps getting worse, second half of the day could be useless

I wonder what sort of mileage the team's are looking at getting done on this first day? The more the better I guess, my guess is if any team get's 120-130 laps then they will be happy with that. But they will be looking to ramp up the mileage the deeper into the test they go. Well see later I guess, not going to get ahead of myself but promising start for McLaren and mercedes partnership.

With so little time (just to week) to the season start, will F1 teams hide some technical solution or sandbag in your opinion?
I think it will be a bit counterproductive.

That are 134 laps from the Honda engine. Not bad. :)

Looks like the weather warning is coming true. A sand storm is coming. :(

I can't remember any team ever hiding some stuff in testing. It just doesn't make sense, even less this season.

For example it has happened that some teams used new stuffs at the first GP.
With only two weeks to the F1 start I do not think it will be the case if not to correct issues discovered during test. Do you agree?

They might sandbag, but they wouldn't want to hide or not run any car parts they intend relying on.
