Now is priority power from PU. So yeah this kind of comments are not good for discussion. Plus second side-effect they could take is reduction of overall drag in sidepods (let say there are 2 ways to skin a cat). Its pretty natural way when u got lower power than opposition. Good and quite effective way to achieve same goal - less hindrance on straight track segments. So you could increase rads and use more air for run Pu harder or u are reducing drag and run PU less.

But in F1 nothing is for free. By incresing air outlets Ferrari are losing aero efficiency at the rear.

Rest assured. There are engineers who have spent countless hours figuring the best possible solution for the overall design goals of the car. This is their solution. We will know a general idea of order after a couple Q3’s, and a couple races. Until then, who is to say their design is less than or behind any other team on the track? Car looks spectacular imo.

Maybe it's one token for the box and another for the suspension structure, but you end up having to use both because if you change the box you are gonna need to change the suspension too.

Red Bull now is very similar to the Merc, Ferrari is a lot more conventional than they are, for whatever reason didn't think that was the way to go.
Some people have mentioned that the Merc suspension lower arm attaches to the impact structure and not the gearbox so teams would need 3 tokens to fully reproduce it, yet Red Bull managed to do a very close fac-simile, so i'm not buying that... Ferrari just went a more conventional direction.

Sainz 13 lap stint on C3. Consistent, but 1:39’s is slow.

Is this amount of movement common for rear wing under load? It looks like it is more than suspension squat.

This is mostly suspension movement under higher load.

On the straight at the pitlane exit you can see, how stable car remains going over bump.

conclusion: Ferrari are 2-3 sec per lap slower then AT. :lol:

I think Ferrari and Red Bull did the same thing, lengthening he gearbox casing and attaching it to that. Red Bull couldn't have done it the Mercedes way because changing the rear crash structure would've required more tokens
