Argh I confuse Aston Martin with mercedes on the frontal TV shots about 70% of the time
Yeah, add Alpha Tauri to that as well. Not ideal. Especially if Aston end up close to Merc or close to Alpha Tauri on track.

Just watching Bottas. how many laps will he do ? Is he at the start of a race sim ?

Edit: probably not, as was too fast if he is. Currently in the 1.35's after doing a few 1.36's

Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

Why would anyone even care if they looked better?! People actually want to see they go bust.

BS. I want them to dominate another 10 years until ferrari and redbull quits.

We finally have somewhat of a reading on Mercedes. 1:31.4 on C3 (prototype). Doesn't compare favourably with VER's benchmark set on a dusty track yesterday.

Exactly what goes trough my mind. I don't think RedBull is happy with this

Merc slowly chipping away at it. A bit of an unorthodox run plan but it doesn’t seem like they’re panicking and deviating from the schedule. Hats off

I don't think they are comparable at all. Merc has historically run heavy for testing. We don't know what engine maps they are using as well.

It’s been said a million times, but none of this means anything without having context that you can only get within the team in regards to their testing program.
The talking heads create story lines and make up information all the time, because that’s how they make a living.

Q3 in two weeks is when we’ll see how all the teams shake out.

I think both Mercedes and Ferrari will be fine.

This Ferrari vs Alfa comparison the announcers are hyping up is funny. :)
