Yeah, but they've also did some crazy work for 2021 too on their 'new' engine and this could result in just as much a DNF.

Either way, can't wait for the green flag to be waved sunday.

Yeees! I was expecting a close battle, but not 0.38 gap to Hamilton! The season seems finally will be promising!

horner estimated around a tenth loss in performance because of that.
what a job red bull has done. if they carry that advantage forward, it's a given that max would be a champ!
once again, are honda exiting at the wrong time?

If they achieve their goal, which is to win the World Cup. They will leave happy.
They will also continue as a sponsor.
If Honda proves to have the best engine right now. They will go out through the big door

All we need now is for Hamilton to get a great start so Verstappen can hunt him down and pass him on track. Something similar to 2019 Hungary, where despite his efforts, Verstappen was only delaying the inevitable.

In what capacity? It would seem strange for a Red Bull - Red Bull to have Honda decals on it.

Or will Red Bull invite Honda to badge the power unit? :?:

Horner was adamant that Red Bull Powertrain power units would be called "Red Bull" units on the entry form.

Or is there still a chance the units can be supplied from Sakura after all, and there will be no Red Bull Powertrain... :?:

Alonso deserves a better car ; what a waste of talent :(
Hmm... Do folks suppose Red Bull made a mistake by overlooking Alonso in favour of Perez? :?: Perez seems to struggle a little, while Alonso would (presumably) have no issues hustling the car in Verstappen-like fashion.

Alonso has always impressed me by being able to get the max out of anything. He seems super-adaptable.

Having said that, it's way too early to write-off Perez, though it does seem that the Red Bull is hard to get to grips with, given Gasly, Albon, and maybe Perez (let's see after four races or so), have found it hard to get even vaguely (say 0.3s) close to Verstappen.

I highly doubt the Mercedes will be that feeble when it comes to race pace, even last year Mercedes were better in the race then they showed in qualifying. Also remember Max is fighting against 2 cars tomorrow, they'll be losing sleep over that tonight

The RBR has the same gap over Mercedes as Mercedes did over RBR last season, let's see what Hamilton can do when the tables are turned.
