After Q2 I dare say that it's gonna be a battle between Red Bull, Mercedes, Mclaren, Alpha Tauri, Ferrari and Alpine. They are all very close.

That Fernando Alonso is trully a master in gaining the 120% of any car he drives. We need those kind of drivers in F1.

Now on to Q3 and let's see Ricciardo and Norris put up some magic final Qualifying Lap to make a surprise. Drivers play the game with such a close field.

On the upside, we are 4 tenths ahead of Stroll/Alonso.

Alpha Tauri and Ferrari may be main challengers for 3rd this season.

F1 2021 isn’t for the faint of heart!
Q: (Stefano Mancini – La Stampa) Kimi, will you help Vettel to win his championship this year?
Kimi Raikkonen: I can only drive one car, obviously.

Mercedes and Red Bull are not in the fight with Mclaren, AT, Ferrari and Alpine... Mercedes and Red Bull were on mediums which are 0.9 seconds slower than Softs... Yes, the midfield is closer, but it’s not invited to the party at the front.

These differences are so minimum that let's hope that our car is good generally in every race like the last two years compared to the opposition and we might see surprises.

Makes you wonder if they needed new regulations! Every season has been better than the previous one since they left them alone :)

I don't know friend. You can start with the faster tyre and nothing says that with good handling they won't hold as much as the mediums. It's really close this time.

We are on Mercedes engine map obviously. Full power only when needed.
Last year they changed it to 1 map per race. The regs were changed again for this year where they have only 5 maps for the whole season. So the Map is the foot on the peddle.

Alpha Tauri was on Mediums. Medium is not 0.9s slower than Soft.

Remember guys, we have only one soft set. First run will be slow.

No way that was used set. Ferrari saved an additional set of softs in FP3, they had enough to have two runs on softs in each qualy.

P6 and P7 looks good. Problem is that Alpha Tauri and Ferrari look very good.
