Alonso deserves a better car ; what a waste of talent

i am sure he has 2 tenths hidden in him not sure how much is left in car though .
Credit to Honda and Ferrari for pulling it off on engine front. "Renault" engine might be worse one of the grid now.

It was kind of expected right? They said Next year for all the new bells and whistles on the PU. This year is basically a minor upgrade from last year.

Amazing lap from ALONSO hard to see where he could have gone faster. Team needs to improve the car to match his performance because he squeezed everything on his first qualifying already.

He seems to throw the car into corners like he did in 2005..

And with the absolutely brilliant starts he has done so many times in the past we all know that he really will go for it. That's one thing I always liked with Alonso, it's like the risk of binning it in turn 1 doesn't exist in his mind.

Q3 lap

As he says on the radio there’s maybe 1-1.5 tenths on the last few corners but not enough to out qualify the mclarens. Sainz yeah but he was there due to error and not real pace.

Let’s see tomorrow if he still has it on the starts and maybe if he has learned a thing or two about tyre management on wec.
