Lando is absolutely on fire today, wonder what's uncomfortable for Daniel, the gap is too big at the moment.

Ted no one should have went out. Haas and Williams are locked in Q1 and Tsunoda makes it five.

Team shouldn't have sent Ricciardo out.

Yeah, sometimes this place is like a funeral parlour after Friday practice. I don’t know whether people like to play reverse psychology, but so often it’s like the valley of regret! “We should never have left Honda, we should have kept Carlos, Ron Dennis shouldn’t have been kicked out, we should have given Adrian Newey whatever he wanted!”
Don't get ahead of yourself, this was only P3, not qualifying.

It can all still go wrong 🤣🤣🤣

Lol
True, but we should loose it after qualifying, not FP1
Haha true!

As it is, its looking very good for Lando.

But don't get ahead of yourself yet, it could all go wrong in the race! 😆

Concerned for Daniel in Q2. Alpine suddenly showing some good pace too. Hopefully he's just building up cautiously.

Good pace, Alonso almost got knocked out?

Daniel definitely is a driver that gets better on every session (there were examples of this last year), but the gap is a little worrying at the moment.

Hopefully he isn't a driver who loves a pointy front end!!!

I'm sure he will pick up the pace.

Lando 2.0 is still going strong.

The gap was indeed huge. He should have been able to be at least 1 or 2 tenths close to Lando. Maybe a mistake in his run or maybe he had used tyres and never did another run?

Haas and Alfa Romeo, as it turns out. Both Williams through.

True, but it was an extremely cautious move. I felt it is very unlikely 6 cars under Ricciardo would improve.

No, Alonso ended up 15th. Ocon was in the top 10, I think.

I don't think Ricciardo might have used his tyres a lot. I think he abandoned his run quickly. On another note I notice that Norris was the fastest in Sector 1, second fastest in Sector 2 but loses again on Sector 3 a lot.

Danny’s performance has been underwhelming so far. We didn’t get him to trail Lando but we got Danny so he could beat Lando. Obviously it’s still early days. Let’s give him a couple of more weekends to get more comfortable. But the current gap to Lando is way too big.

I meant Ocon showed good pace. He was P5. Lol, sorry.
