Let’s hope for a large update package at Barca... because surely since pre season testing they have done more than a few winglets in front of the rear tires
In discussing the switchover to the 22 car the team said it would happen soon.

This suggests that design of updates is continuing now.
The team also said updates will come in the next few races,.

So this suggests to me that we will see updates coming quute soon and more being delivered up until summer.

Thats more than I was expecting.

Yeah was just a tad confused with the lack of updates in comparison to the other teams... but can be optimistic that maybe they’ve found one significant and last pathway of development to follow, which may require time for cohesion

Seidl:
"We had a very useful Friday and gathered good information on where we would like to improve the car overnight, and also on the likely behaviour of the tyres for the race. We’ll put it all together tonight, make some adjustments, and do our best tomorrow.”

Sounds reasonbly positive to me...

Yeah thats what I'm curious about. Given the time taken to bring the first updates, it feels like a larger upgrade coming initially potentially followed by some tweaking and some other smaller updates. By Larger upgrade, I don't necessaarily mean physically large, but something that took a lot of thought to perfect.

But thats pure conjecture and I guess we will find out in the next 3 weeks or so.

Alpine looks good here so far, but let's see what will happen in quali.

It seems that McLaren are going to improve more than Alpine in quali. Hope I'm not wrong.

Midfield looking really tight, Alpine with a good turn of pace. Lando and Danny will really need to nail their laps to avoid a Q2 knockout, it's that close. Fingers crossed they have a bit more in reserve on the PU side of things. Finger nails at the ready...

I am gonna wait for the Qualifying where we really show up where we are before saying anything but most of all tomorrow's race where points are given.

Ah, that was the danger for Daniel, didn't get a clean lap in. Will make it worse for him seeing Lando up in P2. Hope it doesn't knock his confidence.

I don’t think they’ll be saying chill dude anymore #-o #-o

“But Andreas [Seidl], Zak [Brown], they’re just like: 'chill, dude, it's just going to come'. So yeah, I mean, I'm obviously trying not to chill too much, but I'm aware that it’ll come eventually.”
